As a Pony Club member of the Fleurieu Equestrian Clubs you are part of a wider community.

The aims and objectives of Pony Club are

  • To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.

  • To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and to instil in members the proper care of their animals.

  • To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline in the members.

The FHPC is part of the Southern Zone group of Pony Clubs in South Australia, and as a member you are-

  • Eligible to participate in Zone and State Championships.

  • Expected to help in maintaining the grounds at the Monarto Equestrian Centre and provide helpers at Zone competitions.

  • Eligible to sit for certificates and achievement patches to show your personal progress to other Clubs and Club Members - our club encourages its members to participate as much as possible.

Pony Club Membership is open to riders aged up to 26 years and the fees for FHPC can be found on our membership page.

Club competitions are held each year, and riders from across the state are invited to participate regardless of your riding level and achievements. Please visit the PCASA website to find out more about the Pony Club movement in SA, or contact our membership officer for information about our club.
